What is the purpose of Pioneer Clubs?
The purpose of Pioneer Clubs is:
- To enable children to enter into a personal relationship with Christ and to know His Word.
- To enable children to form healthy relationships.
- To enable children to grow to be whole persons.
- To enable adults to understand children and help them develop.
How would my child benefit from Pioneer Clubs?
Pioneer Clubs reinforces concepts taught in Sunday School, Grace Christian Academy, and home.
It addresses the four major needs children have:
- The need to feel secure.
- The need to belong.
- The need to feel self-worth.
- The need to grow toward independence.
When does Pioneer Clubs meet?
Wednesday Evenings:
- Supper: 5:30 pm
- Assembly: 6:15 pm
- Clubs: 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
How is Pioneer Clubs organized?
Clubs are organized according to grades:
- Skippers - Preschool (ages 2 and 3)
- Scooters - Pre-K and Kindergarten
- Voyagers - 1st and 2nd Grades
- Pathfinders - 3rd and 4th Grades
- Trailblazers - 5th and 6th Grades
What goes on in Pioneer Clubs?
Teachers present a Bible lesson, sometimes they include a craft, the children may play a game or sing songs, and they always have
